SMALL TANK MIXER FOR BOTH OPEN & CLOSED HEAD DRUMS

Small tank mixers require versatility and portability as they can be used on different tanks in different parts of a plant. The Universal Drum Mount (UDM) is one of our more unique configurations in the MMX 1000 Series. This innovative design allows the MMX Series to become a small tank mixer.

As with all our small tank mixers, the MMX Series includes our standard offerings and comes in many different configurations and dimensions.

Dynamix agitators and mixers are selected and configured according to your needs. These images and configuration options are only guidelines for your final mixer selection.

An additional advantage of this mount is that the shaft angles into the tank providing increased space for the larger impellers. In order to mix small tanks with a 2” NPT port, we provide our 4-bladed collapsible impellers.

COLLAPSIBLE IMPELLERS

Optimal mixing in a 55-gallon drum requires our 4-bladed collapsible impellers. Our drum mixer impellers enter through the 2″ NPT openings of the 55-gallon drum. These impellers expand during drum mixing and collapse after, for easy removal. This ensures that the correct type of mixing quality will be achieved.
